What personally identifiable information is collected?

During registration, Ntrypoint asks for your name, address, email address, sex, self-selected reference number, and birth date (for personal members) are required fields. The self-selected reference number is used to generate your personal feelWell ID number. If you forget your login user name and/or password, the reference number you chose is required to retrieve your information. Also optional, you may create multiple journals, which require name, address, email address, sex and birth date information.

The more information you volunteer (and the more accurate it is), the better we are able to customize your experience. Once you register you are no longer anonymous to Ntrypoint - you are given a feelWell ID, and are able to take full advantage of the feeWell Online community.

How does Ntrypoint use cookies?

Our site uses session variables and cookies to identify you and dynamically generate your personalized page. The cookie is set when you choose to login with "remember me" checked. Session variables are set when you register or "Sign In" and these variables are used to greet you with your name and to deliver information specific to your profile. If you do not want to be identified, you can click on the "Sign Out" button to disable the session variables and cookie, if you logged into the session with "remember me" checked.

Other uses of the cookie by Ntrypoint are:

1. To estimate our audience size. Each browser accessing feelWellOnline.com is given a unique cookie which is then used to determine the extent of repeat usage.

2. To measure certain traffic patterns, which areas of Ntrypoint's, sites, including feelWellOnline.com, you have visited, and your visiting patterns in the aggregate. We use this research to understand how our users' habits are similar or different from one another so that we can make each new experience on feelWellOnline.com a better one.

How is the information that is collected used?

Ntrypoint's primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you, the member, with a customized experience on our site. This includes personalization services, and interactive communications.
Your self-selected reference number is used for security purposes to verify that the account belongs to you in the case you lose your password and password hint. Also, when you contact Ntrypoint, you must provide your reference number to discuss your membership.

By knowing a little about you, Ntrypoint is able to deliver better service, to you. At no point will any advertisers have access to individual account information.

We also communicate with the user, via email in the form of a newsletter or an email message, informing of activity on your account, updates to the site, new services and solicit opinions in the form of surveys.

Ntrypoint does research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior based on the information provided to us upon registration, from our server log files or from surveys. We do this to better understand and serve our users. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis and may be shared with advertisers or business partners.

Is anybody else collecting data?

When you are on a Ntrypoint site and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with Ntrypoint alone. In cases where you are on a co-branded site, you will see along with Ntrypoint's logo, our partner's logo. These co-branded sites are offered in conjunction with a partner company. In order to provide this co-branded service to you, it is necessary for us to share information.

Please be aware that Ntrypoint advertisers or web sites that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those web sites linked to Ntrypoint are not covered by this privacy statement.

Does Ntrypoint share my information with anybody?

No. As a general rule, Ntrypoint will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information without your permission. The exception shall be under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below. The following describes some of the ways that your information may be disclosed.

Third Party Data & Data in the Aggregate: Under confidentiality agreements with third parties, Ntrypoint may disclose aggregated and cleansed user statistics (such as, 65% of our users are female) and derivative contents of journals (such as, "I ate breakfast today", but not identify the person who is "I") in order to assist various research efforts sponsored by partners and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes.

Other: Ntrypoint may also disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating Ntrypoint's Terms of Service or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Ntrypoint's rights or property, other Ntrypoint users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. Ntrypoint may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products and services.

How is information on public forums collected and used?

If Ntrypoint provides to its members chat rooms, blogs, forums, and message boards, please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas can be public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

How does Ntrypoint protect my information?

Keeping your subscriber information private is vitally important to us. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. You can opt to receive an e-mail notification, every time there is activity in your account. In addition to the above, we use a secure server and SSL as the encryption method.

Every time you access your subscriber information, we use industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to ensure the data is encrypted during transmission. Apart from this, we have put in place operational checks to ensure that nobody has unauthorized access to the database, including our employees. The personally identifiable data itself is encrypted inside our servers and our database to prevent accidental access.

What are options and choices for controlling my information?

Ntrypoint gives members the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners at the point where we request information about the visitor. Ntrypoint gives users the following method for removing their information from our database and to not receive future communications or to no longer receive our service

Our Web site may use a reputable third party to serve the advertisements that you see on the pages of our Web site.
